Diners in Britain have slammed a new report that says that Indian takeaway food is fatty and unhealthy. The report, carried out by Which? magazine, called Indian, Chinese and pizza takeaway food grossly unhealthy and unadvisable for daily consumption. It said that one Indian or Chinese meal had more calories than an average person should consume in an entire day. But what surprised the magazine was that people felt that given a choice between putting on a little eating good food s opposed to staying fit and trim and consume British food, the choice was simple - they’d rather have the fatty food.

It was recently revealed that the David Fisher designed moving skyscraper, to be built in Dubai and Moscow, was also supposed to be built in the Indian city of Bombay. The architect had approached several builders and contractors to carry out the project in India but was turned down by every one of them. According to Fisher, the reason that no builder wanted to attempt something like this in India is that they do not see a market for it. A moving skyscraper would completely go against principles of Vaastu and therefore, the flats in the skyscraper would never sell.

China announced various caveats to their “Right to Strike” rule, which was announced late last night. According to the Chinese government, they want to make sure that this newly declared right is not abused. While the government maintains that the workers would able to go on strike if they have good reason, they would have to outsource the actual strike efforts to neighbouring India so as not to hamper the production process. China believes that India has immense and ancient history in the strike and protest business and this new arrangement would be beneficial to everyone involved.

Not that we’re acknowledging either that there is a heaven, but if there was a heaven, in the classical sense, then George Carlin definitely deserves to be there - unlike say, maybe, freedom fighters. The thing about heaven though is that poor George would always have to be wary about what he couldn’t say in front of god. Like ask God when was the last time he got any. I mean, how do you take a guy seriously when the only time he did it was with a woman who swears he didn’t actually, like, touch her, the woman lives with a guy who swears it did happen and is cool with it, and the woman gives birth to a guy who gets his ass whipped by guys in metal skirts.

It’s been barely a week since the Bombay office of popular music channel MTV was attacked for offending religious sentiment when it was a case of history repeating itself. This time round, the union representing barbers in Bombay have attacked the MTV office claiming that the channel’s efforts to glorify bald men has severely affected their income and business and they are demanding compensation and an unconditional apology. In what was definitely more than a symbolic move, the barbers made sure to attack and destroy all the mirrors in the MTV office. The newly installed LCD screens were unharmed.
